काय हो राजाभाऊ , डीएसकेंनी आपल्या मुलाच्या लग्नात किती कोटी रुपये खर्च केले असतील ? नाही म्हणजे गावजेवणच घातले म्हणायचे की. शनिवार, रविवार दोन दिवस हा सोहळा चालला होता ना. काय तो थाट, काय ती खाद्यपदार्थांची रेलचेल, काय ते कार्यक्रम.
आणि मला एक सांगा राजाभाऊ , आता मा. गोपीनाथ मुंडेंसाहेबांच्याकडेही लग्न आहे म्हणे , मग त्यात ते कितीसा खर्च करणार असतील व या पैशाच्या उधळपट्टीबाबत त्यांच्या विभागातला गरीब शेतकरी काय विचार करत असेल ?

Totally agree.. I always think on the same lines..
the rich live on a totally different platform of luxury than us..
just like we live on a different platform from those who work for us, cook for us, etc.. unfair, but true..
i remember a line from Akshay-Priyanka-Amitabh film Waqt..
Akshay says "mere ghar mein to tumhare ghar se kam kamre hain.."
Priyanka replies, "koi baat nahi, gareeb log to 2 bedroom ke ghar mein bhi reh lete hain"
so the divide goes... and in any case, tradition has it that wedding s have become the chosen means of showcause
