प्लान बी

सहा वाजल्यापासुन मोबाइलमधे लावलेला अर्लाम दर दहा मिनिटाने आठवण करुन देतो, पण तो कशाची आठवण करुन देतोय हे पहायला सुद्धा फुरसत नाही.

तुम्ही असता फक्त एक Click  away to  Turn Off Computer. पण हे अंतर खुप असते. अजुन किती काम बाकी असते.  

शेवटी तुमच्या हातुन ते धाडस होते खरे. जर झाले नसते तर . आपल्याच्याने काय बघायचे राहुन गेले आहे ते कधीच कळाले नसते.     

असा कार्यक्रम पहाणॆ नाही. समोर जे काही चालले होते ते केवळ कल्पनेच्या पलिकडचे.

एक उतरते छप्पर,  त्यावर ते चौघे घरंगळत, चालता चालता, लोळता लोळता, घसरता घसरता, सरकता सरकता  जे काही करत होते ते ना.  अरे काय चाललय तरी काय.  मधेच एखादे दार उघडत होते, खिडकी उघडत होती, काही खण उघडत होते ,ज्यावर टणाणा टणाणा उड्या मारत ती जणु माकडॆ वर चढत काय होती, खाली उतरत काय होती, मधेच खण उघडल्यावर त्यावर आपटत आपटत खाली काय पडत होती, तर मधे खण बंद झाल्याने दणकण खाली काय आपटत होती. 

नुसती  गंमत जंमत चालली होती,  मधेच त्यांच्या हातातल्या बॉलने खेळत काय होती, त्या दाराखिडक्यांपाशी, कोनाड्यापांशी , दारातुन खिडक्यांमधुन ... 

मग ती उंच भिंत उभी राहिली, त्यावर चढणॆ, वर बसणे काय,  तुलना फक्त सह्यकडॆवर लीलया वावरणाऱ्या माकडांशीच.  ते लोक त्यावर काय काय करत होती, सांगणॆ कठीण.  मधेच दार तिरके झाले, त्यात अर्धवट अडकलेले ते दोघे ...

मग ती भिंत आडवी झाली,

त्यावर झोपुन जे काही करत होते ना तेच दॄष्य मागच्या उभ्या पडद्यावर दिसत होते , फरक येवढाच की  ते उभे असलेले दिसत होते.  आकाशात उडत काय होते, हळुवार पणे मानवी चेंडु येकामेकाकडॆ टोलावत काय होते. आडव्या पहुडलेल्या अवस्थेत उंच उड्या काय मारत होते, मारामारी काय करत होते .  गुरुत्वाकर्षणाचे नियम येथे कुठेच लागु पडत असलेले दिसतच नव्हते.


हे सारे प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवला हवे . शब्दात व्यक्‍त करणॆ कठीण आहे.     

हा कार्यक्रम उद्याला सुद्धा आहे.  सध्या आपल्या देशात फ्रान्स महोत्सव भरला आहे.

Four acrobats sliding on a mobile plane (inclined, horizontal, vertical), a few white balls magically suspended in mid-air, a flurry of lights and music: this is Plan B for you, a show of Compagnie 111 directed by the New-Yorker Phil Soltanoff, combining the best of circus, theatre and video art. From an imaginative renewal of the experience of space and the laws of gravity, gradually emerges a poetic discourse. In Plan B, dream and farce unfold in a new poetics of space.

Artistic movements of the 20’s such as constructivism; the Bauhaus have greatly influenced the creations of Compagnie 111. Other artistic forms present on stage, namely lights, sound, live electronic music, video, dance, design, magic and shadow play, are all laced into one unique creation. Plan B is not only full of creativity, humour and poetry, but also represents a mind-boggling example of technical perfection. Their mastery of the circus arts leads the four men to defy the universal laws of space and gravity. What remains is slow motion, energy, buoyancy.
