काय झपाट्याने , विलक्षण गतीने, वेगाने रस्ताची, पुलाची, शुशोभीकरणाची , उरली सुरली कामे पुरी होत आहेत।
याचाच दुसरा अर्थ असा होतो ही कामे करण्यांची या यंत्रणेची प्रचंड कार्यक्षमता आहे, मनात आले तर रे करुन दाखवु शकतात, असे असून देखील नाहक ( ??? ) ही कामे वर्षानीवर्ष रेंगाळत ठेवण्यात येतात, नागरिकांना होणारया त्रासाची पर्वा न करता ।

I agree. Shivsena Govt created several flyovers in record time in Mumbai, whle keeping the traffic flowing!
Government is capable of doing many things, but they often think that the choice for them is between making money and doing genuine public good. No marks for guessing their preference.

They widened the road outside my parents' home in Pune (its close to the stadium near Sarasbag), presumably as part of the games-infrastructure-improvement plan.
With all the funds, manpower,musclepower, and whatever-else-power, they erroneously cut water pipes, destroyed the telephone cables, and the latest is that a waterpipe on the widened road just outisde the house gate has burst, causing a huge fluid dirty mass of mud , occupying half the road width, through which elderly folks are supposed to wade.
Maybe someone is making money. Or power.
I'd just love to see the commonwealth athletes run thru all this mess.....
उगीच कोणीतरी,
गेले चारपाच वर्षे माझ्या बा्यकोच्या भाच्याच्या लग्नाचे जमवल्यापासुन आम्हा सर्वांना वेध लगले होते. स्पर्धे मुळे परिक्षा पुढे ढकलल्या, मुंबईतील लग्न आणि व पुण्यातील परिक्षा एकाच दिवशी. त्यात दुर्दैव असे की आदल्या ्व नंतरच्या दिवशी पेपर नाही. त्याला व मला लग्नाला येता येईल की नाही माहीत नाही. त्याच्या जवळ मला रहायचय.
देशासाठी व या राजकारण्यांसाठी आपण साऱ्या्नी हा त्याग् करायलाच हवा .
