वैतरणा पुलावरील हा एक अप्रतिम प्रपात
दुर्दैवाने येत्या दोन तीन वर्षात हा धरणाच्या पाण्याखाली नाहिसा होणार आहे, या पाण्याच्या प्रवाहाने निर्माण केलेल्या घळ्या पाहाता जीव घाबराघुबरा होतो. आणि गंमंत म्हणजे तुम्ही याच्या इतक्या जवळ असता की हात पुढे केला की त्यात जावा.
The place called Vaitarna (name of river) Bridge. You won't believe it's hardly 3 hrs drive from Mumbai. Thank god this entire region is little known and is not yet polluted and infected by mad crowd.
It's near Kasara, bifurcation on Mumbai - Nasik highway. This entire region transforms itself in heaven during the rainy season. Unlimited waterfalls on the road, greenery every where. It's on Kasara - Jawhar Road.
This particular waterfall is so huge and so powerful and the beauty is you are so near to it. You just have to extend your hand.
And the cannons, well one does not have to go to all the way to USA.
I have posted few photographs of this region, just before of after this post.
This year my friend and me had gone for cross country walk in this stretch.
