" इडली ऑर्कीड आणि मी " हे श्री.विठ्ठ्ल कामत यांनी लिहिलेले पुस्तक वाचल्यानंतर राजाभाऊंनी त्यांना एक पत्र पाठवले व " इडली ते ऑर्कीड या प्रवासात ते नेहमी त्यांच्या बरोबर होते , त्यांच्या सर्व रेस्टॉरंट्स मधे खाद्यपदार्थांचा आस्वाद घेतला असल्याचे " लिहिले होते.
त्यांना " ऑर्कीड " कडुन लागलीच उत्तराचे पत्र आले, सोबत होते ते पाच पंचधातुंचे पेले. यात पाणी पिणॆ आरोग्यदायी आहे, याचा वापर करावा.
या मिळालेल्या वागणुकींनी राजाभाऊ भारावुन गेले, श्री.विठ्ठ्ल कामतांच्या चाहतावर्गात आणखी एकाची वाढ झाली .
मग ते "ऑर्कीड ’ मधे परत एकदा बुफे जेवायला गेले, सहकुटुंब सहपरिवार.

What a coincidence! I was in Orchid today and met Mr Kamat. I introduced myself and mentioned that I had read his book.
He was polite and courteous [like all hoteliers] in his response!
Yes, he serves delicious food, though priced a bit on the higher side.
It is also my favourite place to meet people and also for interniewing cadidates who travel from other locations.

Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but it's worth it. The food and ambience both are great.
Well not all hoteliers are as polite and courteous as Mr.Vithal Kamath. You should read Dr.Suhas Awachat's interview in the recent issue of "Maher" magazine. All his comments about maharashtrians are unnecessary, uncalled for and unwarranted and look at the self-praise. I was bit upset after reading and then I wrote blog on my feelings. Just prior to this.
